Privacy

Your language and country, your unit preference, your favourite recipes, and any brew you have not finished yet. This lives in your browser's or your phone's local storage. We cannot read it, and clearing it removes it for good.

We do not ask for your name, email address or location. The app has no analytics or tracking. Nothing you do in it is sent to us.

We never request GPS access. To suggest shops that deliver to you we use your country, which comes from your device's language and region setting or from the choice you make yourself in settings.

Like every website, the server Phin101 runs on records which pages are requested: your IP address, the time and the page. That is needed to keep the site secure and available. The legal basis for this is our legitimate interest in a working, secure site. The hosting provider keeps these logs for [retention period] and uses them for nothing else. We do not combine them with any other information about you.

Product links take you to shops such as Amazon or bol. Once you are there, that shop's own privacy policy and cookies apply. We always show you which shop a link opens before you tap it.

Phin101 is published by Coen Vermeer (coenvermeer.nl), who is the controller for the server logs above and can be reached at info@phin101.nl.

You can delete everything stored on this device at any time in Settings. We do not keep accounts. If you want to know what the server logs hold about you, or want it erased, email us.

If you disagree with how we handle your data, please tell us first. You always have the right to complain to the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
